ExosPy

Version: 2.3

EXOSpy (Cucho-Padin et al., 2023) is an open-source Python package developed to investigate the terrestrial exosphere by providing access to several state-of-the-art models of the atomic hydrogen (H) exospheric density and by calculating the corresponding far-ultraviolet (FUV) Lyman-alpha (Ly-α) emission intensity.

Inputs

Model name, e.g., Z15MAX and Z15MIN

Outputs

3D Atomic hydrogen (H) exospheric density for 3 to 8 Earth radius

Domains

  • Exosphere

Space Weather Impacts

  • Atmosphere variability (satellite/debris drag)
