CCMC 2022 Workshop
The 10th CCMC Community Workshop will be held at The Hotel at the University of Maryland, College Park, Maryland on June 06 - 10, 2022.
Biennial CCMC community workshops are designed as opportunities for an in-depth exchange of experiences, opinions and needs between model owners, science and operational users, educators, agency representatives and the CCMC staff.

Participation
This workshop is primarily planned as in-person, however virtual participation will be possible. In-person attendance is strongly encouraged for those who are comfortable traveling and are fully vaccinated. Please contact us with any questions or concerns. The workshop schedule will follow an all-day in-person format.

COVID Safety
- As of May 23, 2022, The Prince George’s (PG) County Health Department recommends residents ages two and older wear masks in indoor public places voluntarily. We strongly encourage workshop participants to follow these masking guidelines.
- In Prince George's County, Maryland, community level is Medium.
- We strongly encourage workshop participants to install an Exposure Notifications app on their phones.
- We encourage self-testing as close as possible to when you attend the workshop.
- If you test positive during the workshop
- do not attend the workshop in-person, and
- we encourage you to confidentially and anonymously notify your close contacts of exposure using the TellYourContacts.org site (please include gsfc-ccmc-support@lists.hq.nasa.gov in your anonymous notification).
Presentation Guidelines
- Speakers are invited to present for 12-13 minutes allowing 2-3 minutes for questions, for a total of 15 minutes.
- Because of the number of participants and hybrid nature and of this year's workshop we hope that you will understand our firm AV guidelines.
- All speakers must provide a final copy of their presentation file by midnight EDT the day before they are scheduled to speak.
- Presentation files should be uploaded to the
workshop google drive folder, which is organized by morning and afternoon for each day.Suggested filename: PresentationOrder#_LastName_PresentationTitle. Presentation Order # is the order of your presentation counting from the beginning of each AM or PM schedule block. - Accepted presentation file formats: PPTX, PDF, and ODP. If you do not have movies/animations in your slides, we highly recommend you provide a PDF file.
- Hotel AV staff will be screen sharing all of the presentations from AV laptops (Windows), and it will not be possible for in-person speakers to present directly from their own laptops or for virtual speakers to directly screen share from their own laptops.
- At the end of the workshop we will provide a final link to all workshop presentation files and recordings. If there is a concern, please let us know.

- Parking: The hotel provides parking at a discounted rate of $10 per day for all workshop attendees.
- Metro: The hotel is located 1 mile (about 20 minutes walking distance) from the College Park Metro station (green line). The MARC train camden line also has a station located on the west side of the metro station.

Restaurants
- Meals: A continental breakfast is provided each day, plus morning and afternoon coffee breaks (included with the registration fee). Participants will be on their own for lunch.
