DIPS input file format

The uploaded file defines the CME speed (V_CME) and the local solar wind speed (V_SW) at successive radial distances (r) during the outward propagation of the CME. The file should be in plain text format with the variables r, V_CME and V_SW stored in three columns separated by space. For example, the following file specifies these quantities at two radial values.

Notes: r must be in units of solar radius, and V_CME and V_SW must be in units of km/s.

NAMING the FILE: full path name to the uploaded file on your local disk should not contain any blank spaces; use alphanumeric characters ONLY in the file name and limit extension to .dat or .txt ( e.g., dips-file_1.txt )
