DIPS input file format
The uploaded file defines the CME speed (VCME) and the local solar wind speed (VSW) at successive radial distances (r) during the outward propagation of the CME. The file should be in plain text format with the variables r, VCME and VSW stored in three columns separated by space. For example, the following file specifies these quantities at two radial values.
Notes: r must be in units of solar radius, and VCME and VSW must be in units of km/s.
NAMING the FILE: full path name to the uploaded file on your local disk should not contain any blank spaces; use alphanumeric characters ONLY in the file name and limit extension to .dat or .txt ( e.g., dips-file_1.txt )
SAMPLE FILE:

31.1708 704.666 426.046
Note: r must be in units of solar radius, and VCME and VSW must be in units of km/s.
