As of July, 22, 2024, the WideBand ionospheric scintillation MODel (WBMOD) v17 is available to the community through the CCMC instant-Run (IR) service via this submission URL.

WBMOD is a hybrid model: a semi-empirical model describing the climatology of the irregularities coupled with a theoretical model for calculating the expected scintillation effects. It was developed in order to provide a single consistent framework for (1) modeling the climatology of the irregularities which cause scintillation, and (2) calculating the effects these irregularities will have on a user-specified system.
