Data Collection Consent Agreement

Run-on-Request (ROR)

• For users who are 18 years old or older, you agree to give consent to CCMC to record, store and process your contact information provided as part of our Run-On-Request (ROR) submission process.
• You agree and understand that your email will only be accessible to the CCMC team, and the team will never sell/share your personal information to/with any other third party.
• You consent that your first and last name will be used in your simulation identifier (Runs on Request run number), which will be displayed on the CCMC website.
• Your email address will NOT be displayed on the CCMC website; however, it will be securely stored so that CCMC can communicate with you regarding your ROR submission.
  • If you prefer not to share your first and last name, you can submit an alias instead (e.g., the name of your project or the focus of your research, such as Aurora Borealis), which will be displayed as a unique Runs on Request run number (e.g. Aurora_Borealis_20201025_1) on the CCMC website to identify your simulation.
  • Providing your contact email is required (we will not execute your request without a valid email), and you agree that you are using your work/school email address only.

Model Onboarding

• For model developers, you agree to give consent to CCMC to record, store and process your personal data provided by you as part of our “model onboarding process”.
• You agree and understand that your personal data will never be sold to any other third party by the CCMC team.
• You consent that your contact information including name and work/school email, as well as any publication related to the given model will be displayed on the website and/or other relevant CCMC application(s).

Applications with registered users

• For registered users of CCMC web applications (e.g., DONKI, Scoreboards, CMR, etc.), you agree to give consent to CCMC to record, store and process your personal data provided as part of the user registration process.
• You agree and understand that your personal data will never be sold to any other third party by the CCMC team.
• You consent that your name and the contact (i.e. work/school) email you provide could be displayed on CCMC website and/or other relevant CCMC application(s).

Removing or correcting your information

If at any point you decide to remove your name/contact info from the CCMC web page or to correct any of your information in the CCMC database/on the website, please contact the CCMC staff.
