NASA integrated Space Weather Analysis System Disclaimer
The iSWA system is a U.S. Government Computer Server
This information is science quality. It is provided "as-is" with no explicit or implicit guarantee or warranty as to the accuracy of the information contained here.
The iSWA system provides access to space weatherdescribes the variable conditions in space, due to solar activity and the solar wind [[Glossary/ space weather]] data products and tools for both real-time as well as historical analysis, providing users with the capability to specify and/or forecast the large scale and local space environment.
The data products and tools made available in this system include both observational data as well as model/simulation data. Certain data products and tools are derived from combinations of existing data sets as well as the output from coupled models or model chains.
When utilizing this system it is important to note:
- Certain products may be in experimental or evaluation phases of development or deemed science quality only.
- The iSWA system provides both real-time data as well as historical data for its products so is important to note the actual time stamp associated with each individual product.
- The iSWA system has been designed and developed to provide high availability and numerous methods have been employed to reduce single points of failure through a share-nothing architecture including database replication, redundant data storage, and server virtualization. However, there is no guarantee of the availability or delivery of data within the system.
