Request output for a run

NASA is currently closed due to a lapse in government funding. During this time, output requests may be submitted and, when possible, automatically processed. Processing of certain requests will be delayed until NASA reopens.

Output Type

In addition to 'raw' model outputs, CDF / NetCDF / HDF outputs are availble for select models via CMCC data coversion services. Note that some of the models output in NetCDF / HDF natively.

Filter by Dates

All time steps are included by default. Leave the fields as is or empty to receive all files covered by the run. Select this option ONLY if you need to reduce the number of files.

Date / time filtering allows selecting a more limited set of files covering a time frame of interest. This filter does NOT perform subsetting within the individual files. That is, it does not modify the original run files that may extend beyond the selected time frame. Please input data and/or time in '2000-01-01' or '2000-01-01 05:30:15' format. For example, if a run of interest covers 2020-01-01 through 2020-03-05, but you are interested only in files covering the last 12 hours of the run - you can enter '2020-03-05 12:00:00' as you start and either '2020-03-05 23:59:59' or '2020-03-06' as your end time.

Filter by File Extension and Type

All available extensions and file types are included by default. Leave the fields as is or empty to receive all files covered by the run. Select this option ONLY if you need to reduce the number of files.

Packaging Options

We can either stage the entire run as a single tar file (more convenient) or as individual files in a web-browserable directory (more suitable for slower connections). Both options support resuming of interrupted downloads.

The link to download the run output files will be sent to this email address.

Special Instructions

Below you can specify selected time steps or the interval of interest. If left blank, the output for the whole run will be uploaded to our webserver for your download. Note that the download of large complete runs might take a very long time.

Note: requests with special instructions are processed manually and can be delayed based on the availability of the CCMC staff. Please leave the field empty if you are interested in most of the run or require a faster turnaround.

Attention: due to a lapse in the government funding, processing of output requests with special instructions will be delayed until the government reopens.
