Shawnta is a summer student working at CCMC from June through August, 2006. Her CCMC project involves working with solar models, particularly the ENLIL model. She is assisting in a validation effort to validate the results simulated by ENLIL with the assistance of an IDL program.
Shawnta attended Morgan State University as an undergraduate and graduated in May 2006 with B.S. in Engineering Physics. Her future plans are to attend Norfolk State University to pursue a Master's degree in Optical Engineering.
