Eric is a summer student working at CCMC from June through August, 2005. Eric is tasked with two projects during this period. He is building a custom database and web-based interface for the CCMC Runs on Request system using Apache, Perl/CGI, and PostgreSQL. When this project is completed, he will be assisting with some verification and validation-related work.
Eric attends the University of California at Berkeley. He expects to graduate in May 2006 with a major in Mechanical Engineering. His research interests are in neural network-based control systems, MEMS, and robotics.
His future plans are to work in the aerospace industry for no more than 3 years, then return to grad school for a masters in aerospace engineering.
