Virtual Reality Plots

Virtual Reality Markup Language (VRML) files are created with the Space Weather Explorer (SWX), an OpenDX application developed at CCMC.

Magnetospheric VRML files contain the plasma density in two slices and a selection of 3D magnetic field lines in the magnetosphere emanating from the Earth and field lines transported with the solar wind. Files have been created from simulations of selected space weather events.
