CCMC Publications Policy
If results from the CCMC Runs on Request are used in a scientific publication or presentation, we request that, at a minimum, the authors acknowledge the CCMC and the originators of the computational model. All users should contact the code developers for the purpose of publication. You may wish to offer co-authorship, or model owners may request co-authorship at their discretion.
You can use the following sample text for Acknowledgements:
"Simulation results have been provided by the Community Coordinated Modeling Center at Goddard Space Flight Center through their public Runs on Request system (http://ccmc.gsfc.nasa.gov). The CCMC is a multi-agency partnership between NASA, AFMC, AFOSR, AFRL, AFWA, NOAA, NSF and ONR. The [MODEL NAME HERE] Model was developed by the [MODEL DEVELOPER(S)/GROUP] at the [INSTITUTION]."
The information about a particular model/model developer can be found on our Space Weather Models at CCMC web page.
In addition, for tracking purposes for our government sponsors, we ask that you notify the CCMC whenever you use CCMC results in a scientific publication or presentation by emailing .
